IsHyperlink - mouse cursor issue

I use the Isyperlink property on a form to bring up an
image of a document. The hyperlink works, but if the
field on the form is a datatype of date or number the
mouse cursor does not change to a pointing hand. If the
datatype is text the cursor changes. Any suggestions?
