isolating data

Is there a way to select part of the data in a worksheet
and send it automatically to another worksheet or workbook
without going through cut and paste. I tried using
hyperlinks but i'm not sure this is the right way to do it.

1. With a macro. Record your cut & paste operation.

2. With formulas, assuming data is in same shape cell structure in both
sheets. Type an = sign into the first target cell, go back to source
data & select cell. Press enter key. Copy/Paste formula produced, when
any changes in source data will appear in the target.
