Issue adding Sound to Email

D

DKearsley

By using Word as editor, I followed the instruction to add sound via the Web
Tools, but when I click on the icon for sound - I get the error message -

This object was created in HTMLInlineSoundCtl.
This application is not available to open this object.
Make sure the application is properly installed and that
it has not been deleted, moved, or renamed.

How to I resolve? (ditto on several other icons on the web tool bar)

This is a known issue for office 2003 once service pack 2 for windows xp is
installed. Microsoft is aware of the issue, but there is no fix at this
time.
