issue in resource usage view

this may not be a vba issue. but some customer posted it, and I cannot figure
out why..
In the Resources view or Resource Usage view, there are more than 1 ABC
person on the project. It looks like every task is being assigned to a
unique ABC person.

ABC is the initial of an employee.

Hello Joy,

It sounds as though several ABC resources have been created. Check
the Resource sheet and does each ABC resource have a different ID?
If so, you'll need to go back and assign the tasks to the correct
ABC. Then go back to the resource sheet and delete the incorrect
ABC. You may also want to ensure the "Automatically add new
resources and tasks" option on the General tab in Tools > Options
is disabled.

The other question is whether your customer is looking at a
consolidated project. If so, it sounds as though a resource pool
file was not created and the ABC resource was added to each project
file. When the file is consolidated, Project does not automatically
combine the resources.
