Issue w/ Resource View, Baseline value accumulator or Baseline dat

Seeking ideas, thanks in advance.

Using Resource Usage View against an open Server project...the behavior
(below) is exhibited for any Server project...

'Remaining Work', 'Actual Work', and 'Work' values are all accumulated
correctly for each Resource based on assignments listed...However, after
Inserting Columns: 'Baseline Work', 'Baseline Cost'...the accumulated values
for these columns appear to NEVER match the sum of the values in the
assignments...sometimes the accumulated value is overstated, sometimes it is
understated...What could cause this?

Summaries for Baseline Fields are not calculated dynamically, they are only
calculated when the baseline is set. So if a user updates a single baseline
field that value is not reflected in the summaries. But if the baseline is
set using save baseline for a single task they will have to option to Roll up
baselines to summary tasks.

Thank you. I'm probably overlooking something, but it seems to me that one
would always desire summation to summary tasks (without having to select each
task and specify such).
