issue with ACT dbf imports

I'm attempting to import an ACT database file and it
indicated the file was either corrupt, or the translator
didn't recognize the file. Any ideas? The file isn't
locked and it works in ACT on the original PC. thx

There are lots of different versions of both Outlook and Act - have you
checked to see if the version of Act you're using is one of the ones that's
supported natively in your version of Outlook?

Yes and it is supposedly supported...this PC is running
ACT 3.0~~albeit funkily, and the outlook version is
2002... it indicated that ACT had to be on the pc so I
was able to install it -- but it still won't import in...

thx for any ideas...
