I have a Word document that contains several form controls - checkboxes,
dropdowns and text boxes. I want to have the user fill in one text box at
the top of the form and have that data be autopopulated into text boxes later
in the document. I have put in the {REF bookmark name} and am confident I
have done it correctly - it works in other documents. The problem I am
having is that when I tab out of the first field after I have typed in it, I
get a box that looks like an Ask box. There is a ? in the top of the box.
If I just click on OK, it does fill in the other text box, but that is
annoying and confusing to the users and shouldn't be happening. I have
several macros in the doucment as well, and thought that maybe one of the
macros that was asking for confirmation was causing the problem. I have now
deleted all of those macros, and have looked through all the other macros for
any ASK commands, but don't find anything.
I am at my wits end...any suggestions? Thank you in advance.
