Hello,
our team uses external dependencies on Project Server. Each PM owns his/her
schedule, so when a PM creates an external dependency the other PM has to
accept it the next time he/she edits his/her own schedule.
With FS (Finish to Start) links, everything works fine.
With FF or SS links we have the following issue: when a PM creates such an
external dependency, the next time he/she opens his/her own schedule a dialog
box pops up, requesting to accept the external dependency. There is no reason
to have this dialog box, as the PM was the one who created the dependency in
the first place. And even if accepting, the dialog box still shows up the
next time.
Has anyone experienced the same issue? How should we deal with FF and SS
external dependencies?
Thanks for your help!
