Issue with headers and fotters being different in height within a document

Hi

I have a problem with a word template. It has a header
with a logo in the right hand corner and in the footer
there is a page number centred with text flush left and
right. The header and footer on the first page seem to
be fine but on the second page they are in a different
position either higher or lower than the first page
header.

Do I need to ensure that the headers are connected in
order to maintain the same structure. Sounds simple but,
I can't seem to make the header and footer link to the
last section.

Can anyone help me?

Hi Doug

I was looking at that after I had mucked around with it
and saw no change initially.

I retired it on the original template sent to me by my
colleague and your suggestions worked.
