Hello,
The following message is displayed in Project Web Access when I attempt to
link a task assignment on my timesheet to an issue/risk.
Error Message:
"You cannot link issues to this task for the following reason:
- The task is a newly created task that has not been approved by the
manager."
This assignment was one that was added to my timesheet using “Assign myself
to an existing taskâ€. The assignment has been accepted and updates have been
applied many times.
I have “republished assignments†taking ownership and the error message
still appears when I try to link a issue/risk/document to this task from the
Timesheet screen.
Has anyone encountered this message before and is there a way to work around
this?
