Issue with MS Vista Mail 6.0 and Mac Ent 08

I am having a problem exchanging messages with a friend that is using
Microsoft Windows Mail 6.0.6000.16480 that i assume is part of Vista.

If I send him a message using Entourage for Mac 2008 v12.1.1 he receives
it okay. The problem is when he replies, it shows up as four messages
with a document spit in four four parts. None of the documents can be
read on the Mac

I just got on the ATT/Yahoo web mail and sent my friend a test message
and ask him to reply. He did and it worked perfect. What the heck is
wrong with Microsoft Entourage 2008 that causes the Microsoft Windows
Mail to reply with multiple part message with a document that cannot
be read?

I have never ever heard of anything like that. I wonder what format he
is sending me messages in. Raw text, HTML, something else??

I am open to any suggestions to fix this incompatibility issue between
Microsoft Windows Mail v6 and Entourage 2008. Surely i am not the only
person with this issue. I do not use Vista so I am clueless on how to
resolve the issue.

Not so far... (and I'm going to be away for a couple of weeks).
Removing the NoSpam should work though. I've received plenty of e-mails
like that from newsgroups :-\
I'll double check my spam folders...

As a Widows user he thinks there is something wrong with my Mac and I
have no idea what is wrong. Who needs to change what to be able to
exchange mail with a Vista user?

Diane Ross,

I know you have been exchanging some test messages with the other person
and I appreciate your offer to help. Any clue as to what is going on?

Not yet. I have sent the info on for further testing. It seems to be tied to
..jpg files. A .gif sends with no problems. I would change my attachments to
..gif to get around this.

Thanks for the tip. I wonder if the issue is with Entourage or MS
Mail.... one of them is doing something wrong. Really weird stuff.
Thanks again for getting involved.
