On a Terminal Server with Office 2003 installed, I have two (commercial, not
in-house) Access apps – one which uses a 2000RT and one that uses a 2003RT.
Each app runs fine until the other one is loaded. Then the apps start
throwing up OnEvent and Data Type Mismatch errors. Running a repair on
Office resolves the problem… until the next time the other app is loaded.
I’m guessing some shared Office component is in a tug-of-war with the
runtimes. Neither app can use the other’s runtime.
Is there a way to make both of these RTs and Office play nice?
