Issues and risks notification via mail

Hi all
I would like to receive a notification via mail on every new Issue/ risk
that assigned to me
Is it possible?
We are using the EPM 2007 server

Absolutely possible. Firstly, ensure that outgoing email is enable within
sharepoint central admin. Users then need to subscribe to the alerts
produced by individual risk/issue lists (this is done from the menu of each
list).

Alerts for risks and issues can be managed centrally through the web UI. You
could achieve this functionality with some custom code. Maybe someone in the
developers forum can give you some tips/sample code.
