Issues' Categories

Hi, I want to change the string text which are writen in the Category's
combobox [(1) Category1, (2) Category2, (3) Category3], How can I change that
text?, or add more Categories.

Also, I want to change to the Statu's Issue [(1)Active, (2)Posponed,
(3)Closed]

How can I change that texts?

First off, I would not modify the Status. This is used in the intergration
between Project Server and WSS and is displayed on the summary information on
the home page and is used for view types for Risks and Issues. Changing
status would be a lot of work to implement correctly.

You can look at changing the Category Choice list information. If you just
want to do this for one workspace then click on the "Modify Settings and
Columns" link on the left hand side of the screen when you are on the page
for the Issue or Risk list.

If you want to modify this setting so that it applies to every new workspace
then you will need to either create a workspace template or a custom site
definition. Creating a workspace template is the easier path and is
described very well in the following article by ProjectServerExperts in their
FAQ list:

Hi Aaron,

From you what you say changing the status would be alot of work to implement.
I have done some research but I am not finding much on what needs to be done.
And from the looks of it there isn't much control over the query that is
performed for the displaying of Active Issues. We need more than the default
values and with that it will not display on the main page.
