issues configuring properly my Outlook e-mail client since I'm using both POP and Exchange

Good day,

I am having issues configuring properly my Outlook e-mail client since I'm
using both POP and Exchange.

I need to have my POP mails delivered to my personal folder, and my Exchange
mail NOT delivered on my personal folder (keep on Exchange server).

The problem is when I go to E-mail accounts, I can only chose one and only
one location to deliver my e-mails... Is there any workaround?

Currently I have selected Exchange folder, ie all my POP emails are
transfered to my Exchange account (which I don;t want). When I select Local
Folder, then all my Exchange are transfered to my Local Folder, thus
disappear from the Exchange folder (which I dont want too!). Any ideas?

(I'm using Windows XP SP2 and Outlook 2003).

Best regards,

Alex

You will need to create separate profiles for your POP3 and Exchange accounts.

Alex,

in short, AFAIK there is no way you can achieve that functionality (I had
the same issue and in the end resorted to having all my emails - POP3 and
Exchange - delivered to my PST since we have a mailbox size limit on the
Exchange Server).
As Milly pointed out below, the only other option is to define multiple
profiles and select which profile you want to run when you launch Outlook.

But this is quite irritating since you will have to close down outlook and
relaunch whenever you want to switch accounts.
