Issues moving outlook emails across folders

I just moved to Outlook 2007 from Outlook 2003.

In outlook 2003, i could simple drag and move messages across folders (from
inbox to any local folder)

However, in OUtlook 2007, i am not able to do so. When i try to drag and
drop an email from my server based inbox to a local folder (PST), i get a
"black crossed out circle" and nothing happens.

Have i configured the PST incorrectly?
