Issues/Risks modify Settings question?

T

Tim

I used the Risks/Issues modify settings to add a user to the Risks/Issues
registry for a specific job. This user is not an actual team member of the
Project. This did not work. I have tried to create a new category and add
this person and the project to this category. This still did not work.

Any ideas?

You might want to re-state your question. I can only speak for myself but in
reading your post I am not really sure what the problem is that you are
trying to solve. Is it that this person is not on the list in a field with a
user lookup such as Assigned To? Or is it that you need this person to be
able to actually see the issues/risks?

My appoligies for lack of clarity, it was early. My desire is to have this
person have access to the Risks/Issues area. They are admin people who are
not members of the actual project, but need to watch the RISKS/ISSUES.

Tim:

You'd need to grant them permission through SharePoint administration. Only
people with task associations to the projects are automatically added to the
user groups for the SharePoint sites.
