Issues searching when using from Server

We use BCM in our business but when we try to use it from home through the
server, the search capabilities do not function correctly. Is this an issue
with the licensing of the product? There seems to be no other explanation.

I am no expert by far with BCM, but I =did= notice an "Offline" menu
option in Outlook/BCM. I presume that would have something to do with
making an offline copy of your BCM data from the server?

I work stand-alone on my laptop so no server involved, so I don't use
that feature. If you haven't solved this already, let me know and
I'll have a look in my "Dummies" book and see what I can find.

(So far as I can tell, that seems to be the only book out there that
has any substantial information about BCM.)

In general, the Search capabilities are based on the search
capabilities of the client. For example, if the client has Windows
Desktop Seach turned off, then BCM's search capabilities will be
limited.
