I am new user on xp. I purchased office 2003 student teacher edition April 1
and Outlook has been inoperational for three weeks now. Program stops
responding, Slow to open windows , move through folders and enter text, ,
hyperlinks do not work. Since installation of office my IE is also slow to
perform and frequently will not repond ( less so than Outlook but still
several times a session)
I have had MS Tech suppoort perform the Security Update fix but to no avail.
as well as check storage damage. Have spent many days on the phone with tech
support to no avail. I am posting here in hopes that someone could offer
fresh ideas as to what is taking place and/ or direct me to a site that will
help me back up and re install my entire operating system.(Specifically how
to store and transfer files- I am a Mac user and back up to cd that I burn on
internal drive on my Mac- I am uncertain if htis is possible on this pc)
I have 55.6 gb capacity memory with 41.3 available. Computer is Toshiba
Satellite and is 3 months old.
