Hello!
We are in the process of moving to a new domain. We have the WSS, the
database and the Project Server 2003 SP2 all on seperate machines.
What we have been doing is moving users slowly to the new domain and
clicking on the "Clear GUID" check box on PWA admin screen for users.
We intend to move all users to the new domain but are doing this for testing
on a case by case basis.
We are now getting an error
Component: AD Connector
File: AutoADProcess
Line: -1
Description:
AD PWA sync for : MSPS_ITS_Project Mgrs
Resource : Smuckatella; John J - User of this name alreadys exists but NT
accounts do not match - so cannot add new user

The user exists in both domains.
Has anyone gone through this process? Is the way that we are doing this
with best practices? How do we sync to the new AD Tree? Do we need to run a
script to update all of our users in the database? Will this sync correctly
in the new domain when we transistion? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for your patience and time with this matter.
