issues with frontpage 2002, will upgrade improve these

We have been using 2002 for about 6 years. Lately we have been dealing with
many issues. We have an inventory of over 2000 items in the shopping cart.
Problems: 1. Shopping cart times out and customers lose order 2. Randomly
drops orders 3. foreign customers must put in a US state abbreviation to
register 4. Customers must have more than 4 letters in their name to
register 5. new issues: completed registrations and orders are not coming
through our email address 6. shipping charges are determined off-line
based on weight and destination but site has to have a dollar amt on order
form

There are probably other little issues but for now.........

No - an upgrade to Fp2002 will not solve any of these problems.

FrontPage is used to build the pages in a website - it is the server that
runs the pages, and the code developer and page designer who decide the
code and markup that goes into the pages. All your problems result from bad
design of the shopping cart application and a slow or overloaded server.
