Issues with master slides and bulleted formats

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) Processor: Intel Is there a way in the master view of PowerPoint (windows or mac) to set up the body text and second level bullets in a way where the first line does not have a bullet ??? For example

Body Text (no bullet)
  - Second Level (bulleted)
      * Third level. (bulleted)

I can't make this model work and this is what the company would like as a default in their templates. I was wondering if it is at all possible.

Thanks,

CaLu.

Yes. If you're working in Master Slide view of PowerPoint 2008, click
anywhere in the Body Text. Then in the Toolbox's Formatting Palette,
look in the Bullets and Numbering section for the Type button, which is
depressed by default. Click the button and that turns off the bullet for
the Body Text line.
