My IT-people asked me the other day (since I'm the one that work mostly with
PPT) about an issue that suddenly occurred for some of my coworkers. They all
run XP, Office 2007 and automatic updates and suddenly WindowsMediaplayer
refused to play .wma/.wmv files. We do a lot of presentations with inserted
movies and for those with this issue - our movies can't play (black square,
not clicable in PPT and you can't run the movies in the mediaplayer outside
PPT).
I've been trying to look around and there seems to have been some issues
with an Microsoft update awhile ago - but I haven't seen any hotfixes. Anyone
else with this issue -and a nice easy quick solution?
I don't have the issue myself - so I can't simulate it.
