I have a new pc (Dell XPS 430) on which I have just loaded Office 2007.
All works okay except Powerpoint. When I try to start Powerpoint, I get
the following error message: "POWERPNT.EXE Bad Image" with the following
in the details of the pop-up box: "C:\Program Files\Microsoft
Office\Office12\ppcore.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or
it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the
original installation media or contact your system administrator or the
software vendor for support". I have tried re-installing Office 2007 +
restoring to pre-Office + re-installing everything that I had loaded
(e.g. HP C6380 printer). No virus can be found my McAfee. Any
suggestions?
