It just goes to show you

how necessary it is to install applications from Microsoft in ORDER. Now what that order is I doubt even Microsoft knows.

That's because they fly out these upgrades so fast they don't have time to let the rest of the company know
what is going on. Everything has to be installed just right. Don't install IE 5.5 after Microsoft Office 2000
SP2; don't install IE 5.5 from Microsoft Office XP; Don't install Windows 98 SE in a domain; Don't install
ANY HTML ShowHelp security updates at ALL in Windows 2000; Don't install IE 6 in Windows 2000.;
Don't install MDAC 2.8 in Windows 2000...

Sure go ahead lay into me about these things I have said. But I can tell you speak one-on-one to a
Microsoft Personal Support Professional and if they know what they are talking about, they'll tell you the
same thing. It's very easy to tell if they know what they are talking about. Ask them, "Can I Add\Remove
ANY IE version > 5.01 after I install a Windows 2000 Service Pack?" If they say, "Sure" then they don't.
