It takes too long to receive/send an email (hours). What's wrong?

I can send and receive email but it takes hours before the message is
received, by me or the one I send to. My automatic send/receive is set for 5
minutes. What can I do?

Sounds like a problem with a router between you and your penpal. There's
little you can do, except to log the conversation between your mail server
and Outlook to prove it's your ISP's problem.
