It won't let me in.

Okay, I've got my database ready to go company wide. I run the security
wizard and set everyone up. Giving myself and two others full access to
everything and the remainder of the users access to enter and update data and
run reports only. I click finish and the system gives me the snapshot of the
setup. Then it tells me I have to close and reopen the database.

When I reopen the database it tells me that I don't have the proper
permissions to access this database and won't let me in. I've restored it
back to orignial and try again and get the same answer. HELP!

I entered in a password for myself and no I wasn't prompted for username or
password, it just automatically said I didn't have permission.

The wizard created a desktop shortcut for you to open the secure mdb - use
that.

You are trying to open it via a double-click in Windows Explorer, and you
aren't using the correct workgroup file. The shortcut points to the secure
mdw.
