Italics Font in Headings Not Wanted

M

Michele

On one of the computers here, whenever the user uses a heading style (not
headers), it always comes up italicized. Whatever document she opens, those
headers still come up italicized on the screen and in printing. The strange
thing is, if I then open the same document on my computer, it is all back to
normal. I looked her Format, Font Style: - only Italic and Bold Italic show
up in the list. Regular and Bold are not there. It has not always been this
way on this computer and she doesn’t know what happened that would have made
a change. Does anyone have an idea? Maybe reinstall the fonts? Thank you
for your help.

It would appear that the Regular and Bold variants of the given font may be
missing; you will need to reinstall them, which may be difficult if they are
fonts that are installed with Windows, but if they came with Office, you can
do a repair install of Office to restore them.

How would I know whether it was a Windows or an Office font? It's just plain
Arial.

Thank you, Suzanne. I copied the font from my system and pasted it onto
hers. Thank you so much.
