items in folder listed in the color blue

Hi, Most if not all items in my My Docs folder are listed in the color blue;
they used tobe in black. How do I return them to being listed in black?

Blue suggests file compression. This is a Windows setting
Check Windows Help for Compress a file or folder on an NTFS drive
