it's been a month -- where's the fix for the PDFMaker.xls bug?

The dreaded "Compile Error in Hidden Module: AutoExce" Excel 2004 SP1
with Acrobat 6.0.2 installed error...

If it's Adobe's fault -- where's the updated "PDFMaker.xls" that
resolves the problem?

If it's Microsoft's fault -- where's a post from MS indicating such?

It's been a month! And it's only one file needing fixing!

Anybody "in the know" here?

Not "in the know", but here's a "fix":

http://www.mcgimpsey.com/macoffice/pdftoolbar.html

It disables the PDFMaker toolbar, but you don't need it if you install
the Adobe PDF print driver.

I wouldn't hold your breath waiting for a "mea culpa" or a "not my
fault, honest!" from either company. And this problem has existed for a
lot longer than a month - PDFMaker add-ins have been causing havoc in
Office apps since Acrobat 6 came out.
