It's Opening Up With A Table Grid; I Just Want A Blank Page: How Do I Remove The Grid, PLESSE ?

Hi,

I think that all I want for next XMAS is a really simple, most basic, word
processor !
I'm going crazy with this WORD, with all the zillions of options, etc.

Anyway, using WORD 2002.

Now, when I click on the icon to open up for a new, blank, document, the
new page opens up filled with
light grey lines, which I am assuming is for a Table to be entered.

How do I get it to revert to what it did before; just the normal totally
blank page ?

Hello Bob:

On your Drawing Toolbar, click Draw and deselect grid. That should do
it for you! I hope this is helpful to you.
