Why does my windows keep creating iuser_admin profile after I delete it?
Never had a that before. I had viruses which nortons took care of. There was
updates from microsoft done as well. So not sure where to go with this, every
search on this turns up zero results

Hi there

I keep getting the same problem, as yet I have not found a solution online
either. I just keep deleting it too! I will be interested to see any other
replies that are posted too.

I am getting same problem recurring with IUSER_Admin.

A month or two back I downloaded a free "demo" of a utility which is meant to clean up your admin system. I think it was called RegistryNet or similar. Problem started after I deleted the free download (because it fixed nothing and instead just kept pestering me to buy). Thats the only thing I can think of thats been different recently. Any clues from others? We may be able to figure this out if we compare notes.

Hi folks!

You've stumbled into the Office for Mac newsgroup. You'll probably get
better responses if you post in a Windows newsgroup.

Hi Katz

I was afflicted with IUSER_Admin too. I followed various tips I found posted
online about deleting this Trojan, but nothing worked (including starting the
system in safe mode and using the "userpasswords2" function in the command
box). I sought advice from my local computer retailer. She recommended
installing Microsoft OneCare. It worked! This product was able to quarantine
the virus so I could then delete it. By the way, my system had been running
Norton, but the virus got through.

OneCare definitely works (and, no, I'm not a Microsoft employee!).

Best,

Mike.
