I've lost the menu bars and toolbars in Microsoft Word 97

Please help! I am a computer-challenged senior citizen
who was writing a memo and somehow lost the toolbars, menu
bars and even the ruler, but the ruler has come back.
What did I do? I am working in Microsoft Word with
Windows 95.
