I've switched scanner drivers, How to I update my Office Software

I've switched my Canoscan Lide 30 from the WIA driver to the Twain driver.
Microsoft Office Document Scanning now fails to initialize the scanner. What
files/settings do I need to reset to fix this?

I've used the Twain Driver with Microsoft Document Imaging before. I only
recently, with my current new system install decided to try the WIA driver.
It was a bad mistake, because all images were significantly yellowed and
crooked. I switched to my more familiar Twain Driver and am now having this
problem. It is not incompatible with my Microsoft Software because I've been
using it. The problem is now after I did the switch, I think the Office
software is trying to instanciate the WIA driver and failing. I need to get
it to use the Twain interface.
