Can you import an ixf type file to Access?

What is the software which uses or creates "ixf" type files?

When exporting from "IBM DB2" ixf type files are created.
From what I understand the ixf files contains all the
information needed to recreate the database. I wanted to
know if Access can import this type of file.

From what little I remember about DB2, the ixf file contains table metadata
which would allow you to recreate the DB2 database.

I googled around a bit for some more info, and it appears that the way to go
for importing DB2 data into Access is via ODBC. Here's a link or two:
