Jagged lines on border clipart

I have an image which I have scaled larger. The original image prints fine
on our HP500 plotter. I also have copies of the same image on the document
which have been copied and pasted, and then rotated. The rotated images all
have jagged edges while the original's edges are nice and smooth. How can I
get the copies to print with nice smooth edges also?? The image is from the
supplied Publisher 2002 clipart.

Do you get the same result when you insert rather than copy/paste. If you paste
special you have the option of .wmf which will be smoother when rotated.

Yes, I had originally inserted all four images, then individually scaled
them. With the exception of the un-rotated copy, all had jagged edges.

I will try to paste special and see if that resolves this.

Thanks,
