Japan addresses in Outlook 2003 display in reverse order in contacts

When I enter a Japanese address the fields fill in correctly but as soon as I close the data entry window the address displays as follows:

Zip Code
City
Street Address
Japan

I cannot figure out why this is happening and it only started happening after I upgraded to Outlook 2003. Has anyone had a similar problem or any clue on how to fix it? It is really annoying as it means I cannot print any address labels or copy addresses out of my Outlook as they all display incorrectly.

From Contacts, select Customise View -> Sort, then select the sort order you
prefer.
