Japanese and English Typing

I typed both English (American) and Japanese characters, mixed in one letter.
When I tried to print it out, English words and numbers got all compressed
(Shrank) and not legible at all (English characters only). And, now, my
saved doc (saved before printing) opens like that too. How can I retreive my
original doc and print out legible mixed characters letter?
