Using Japanese language, I am using keyboard to type hiragana. In the formula box at the bottom (does it have to be at the bottom) the hiragana appears, I press space bar to obtain the Kanji conversion selection, I select the Kanji I want and press return. Unfortuanately, although it is working in word and power point, the result appears in the excell cell as a an "apple" mac symbol. Can't get the Kanji to appear in the cell; have changed the font to various Japanese selections to no avail. What am I doing wrong?
