japanese ime

I can't install the japanese ime for office xp. I have office professional
2003 and I've been told there is no Japanese ime for 2003 so I have to use
the Xp version. When I try and install the XP version it says "This setup
requires office XP"
Can somebody please help me

The Japanese IME for Office XP does not work in Office 2003. See

Hi,

That`s strange, I have Office 2003 and use the Japanese IME with it. I ran
it under Win2K and now under XP Pro SP2.

i cant install east asian files a dialog box keeps on popping saying i have
to files needed like msmincho.ttc and app932.fon wat will i do with these...

Jeffrey,

G-N-Odie was saying that you need to use the fonts from the OS not from
Office, this is why you can use them.
