The question has appeared many times, but there never seems to be an actual
solution, so I'm going to try asking again.
How does one switch to Japanese Input using Office 2003 (mine happens to be
the Student & Teacher edition) in Windows XP? I have been to the site that
offers the "updates" to the Multilingual User Interface Pack, which is not
what I need. I have tried installing the Multilingual User Interface Pack
from this site
(http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...1c-5be8-476d-b439-196412223cda&displaylang=en)
and only receive the error that "The expected version of the product was not
found on your system." I HAVE installed SP1 for Office 2003.
So... the Multilingual UIP is supposed to provide the capability to input
Japanese (and other languages), however, it will not install properly, no
matter what I do. What is the solution?! Help!!
