First you need to install the Japanese language and IME editor on Windows
Xp, you can do this from the Regional Settings Control Panel, languages tab.
However, your problem is going to be with Office 2K. Getting the Japanese
language support for that older version may be problematic, but run the
installer and you may find its available to be added (Don't have my office
2K disc handy). MS doesn't offer any more the Office 2K proofing tools
that would add multiple lanagues to that version.
