Japanese text in Word 2000

I can't find my original query about Japanese text not inputting correctly
in Word 2000 with Windows 2000 (the text forms in a tooltip instead of in
the Word document). Has it been removed? Anyhow the answer, in case anyone
else experiences the same problem, can be found in MS Knowledge Base Article
259380.
