Java and Infopath

Hello Everyone.

I would like to know if there is a way ... possibly with java or some other
type of coding that I can make parts of a form hide and un-hide by simply
selecting a check box at the top.

for example, My business runs multiple types of jobs ranging from copywork
to scanning to electronic organization to burning cd's.

I have a web-based infopath production sheet but what I would like it to do
is hidde all the unnecessary options when a box is check.

i.e. If I am burning a CD obviously Stapled or clipped or 3 hole punched
does not apply so I would like it to only show things that are appropriate
for a cd. I know I would have to select what was hidden or not but I think
that would greatly aid in being able to cut down on unnecessary confusion on
my employees part when filling out these forms.

Please let me know if this is possible

Thanks
Zach

Hi,

For hiding controls in an InfoPath forms conditionally, you can use
Conditional Formatting, in the controls properties display tab. Most
of the times there is no need to write any code.

Thanks,

thanks for the response .... I think I may have explained that badly ... I
really wanted the view state to change. I ended up adding buttons to change
the view state and not using check boxes, but it would still be helpful to be
able to select multiple check boxes to determine a view state .... is that
possible or would it just be too much trouble??
