Javascript Works On Local Instance But Not Hosted Site? (Newbie)

Jamie

I am new to using javascript but after a lot of trial and error I got a pop-out menu javascript working in FP2002. When I use the "preview in browser" button the javascript works perfectly, it even works when I open the page in NN 4.7.

When I view the published site (Yahoo Hosting) the javascript doesn't display. My page properties are set with javascript on the server and the client enabled

Please help.

a URL would help here, but some things to check would be the
script files location. If they are on your local machine
you may need to get them published out to the web.

Mike,
Your help was right on target and fixed my problem!! Somehow the publish command in Frontpage didn't send the .js file to the hosting provider. When I manually moved the file it all worked perfectly. Huge thanks, I should have asked 5 hours ago :)

Works on my machine.
Have you cleared your browsers
history and temporary internet files??

which is supposed to be the pop-up window link? they just open in same window,
full screen (i.e. maximised window).

is it a pop up window or 'fly out' menus you're talking about here? (two
completely different javascript functions).
