Jet database cannot find msysdb.......

I do not remember the exact message, but recieved a message similar to the
following ...Jet database cannot find msysdb........
I could not get into the database, so I used the backup copy. Is there
anyway to prevent this from happening in the future. Apparently some system
table is getting deleted from the database.

That is a sure sign of corruption. Make sure that you have good backups.

First, always work on a copy of the database. Working on the original may
make it impossible for a repair service to fix it.

Download a copy of JetComp.exe:

Try backing up your forms as text with the undocumented SaveAsText
LoadFromText functions:

for some suggestions. Unfortunately, some corruption cannot be fixed - you
may need to create a new database, import what can be salvaged, and recreate
the rest.
