Jet Database Engine

When I try to open my database I get an error 'The
Microsoft Jet database engine could not find the input
table or query '***'.

I can find the table in a different database which is in
the same directory and I can open it just fine. I have
tried to export the data to a new database and I have
compressed and repaired both databases. I have renamed the
table.

All research I have done indicates the database is
corrupted. Can I fix this issue?

You can find the table in a *different* database? What about in the database
you are using?
