Hi
I have an Access 2000 database I have split. When I install the front end
on another computer and link to the backend everything works OK, but if I
close the front end and then reopen it I get the following message: The
Microsoft Jet Engine cannot open the file....... It is already opened
exclusively by another user or you need permission to view its data. If I
delete the front end and recopy it and establish the links it works until I
shut it down and then reopen it. Any ideas what I am doing wrong. I am
running a small (6) peer to peer network on Win98.
Thanks
dj
