Hello Everyone,
I am a relatively experienced programmer in Access.
However, I have only upsized 2 backends from jet to SQL
server, and with both of those, I didn't use triggers or
stored procedures.
Currently, I have a mission critical and complex
application that needs to be upsized properly (It has
gone from 10 users to 35, and we are running into some
corruption and performance problems.). Obviously, I am
under some significant time pressure, and I don't have
room for error during this upgrade process.
I am looking for programmer that can team with me to
finish this project. My hope is that I can find someone
in the Boston, MA area that has specifically and
successful moved from jet to SQL platforms.
Unfortunately, I don't have any ideas on how to identify
the correct partner. Does anyone have any ideas on how
to locate the right person for the job? Our budget is
very respectible, but I don't have time for the wrong fit.
