Jet4.0SP8 Downloaded Can't Find

I just installed Access on a computer in Workgroup.
WindXP
I downloaded Jet4.SP8 but can't find it to run .exe
Please help.

Where did you download it from? If you just use Windows Update, it will be
downloaded and installed automatically.

If you want to check if it's installed, find the msjet40.dll file on your
computer, right-click it and choose properties. Click on the version tab
and see if it says 4.0.8015.0 or 4.0.8618.0

I downloaded the Jet from the Microsoft.com website.
When the download screen was display I chose the OPEN option.
Does this unzip/open the Jet file automatically?
It appeared to be downloading to my Temp file.
I searched for the name of the file as appeared in the download screen.
I have another question I will post.

It likely did install it. Did you check the version of msjet40.dll? i.e....
